Rhoda C. Hamilton McFarland, a 42-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on February 2, 2008, in Tinley Park, Illinois. Rhoda was the manager of the Lane Bryant store at Brookside Marketplace, where she was working on the day of her death. Born on January 10, 1966, in Joliet, Illinois, Rhoda was a dedicated individual who had served in the U.S. Air Force and was an associate pastor at Embassy Christian Center.
