Deonte Daveece Williams, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically found shot on the Southeast Side of Chicago on October 15, 2009. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3:20 a.m., when police responded to a call of gunfire in the 8100 block of South Manistee Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Williams lying on the sidewalk, wounded.
