Enrique Lopez, a 31-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, was shot and killed on May 26, 2014. The incident occurred in the 300 block of East 17th Street, where Lopez was found after a call was made regarding a male subject yelling for help. By the time officers arrived, Lopez had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and despite emergency response efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
