Rey Dorantes, a 14-year-old boy from Chicago, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on January 12, 2013. Rey, who was of Hispanic descent, was sitting on the front porch of his family's home in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, talking on his cell phone, when he was shot six times.
