Tyler Ellis, a 15-year-old boy from Chicago, IL, was tragically shot in the head on December 16, 2014, in the Altgeld Gardens neighborhood on the Far South Side. The incident occurred around 7:50 p.m. in the 600 block of East 133rd Street. Tyler was immediately taken to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries ten days later on December 26, 2014.
