Kimberly McKay Watters, a 26-year-old woman from Galesburg, IL, was found dead on August 7, 2015, outside her apartment. Her body was discovered in a narrow alley between the Bell Efficiency Apartments and a small strip mall. The cause of death was determined to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Kimberly was born on August 20, 1988, in Peoria, IL, and was the daughter of Don and Sandy McKay.
