Cory Foster Jr., a 20-year-old African American male, was fatally shot during an attempted robbery in Broadview, Illinois, on December 13, 2016. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of 25th Avenue. Officers responded to a call of shots fired and found Cory Foster Jr. with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead.
