Yuri was an honor student at Urban Prep Academy, known for his passion for designing clothes and participating in dance competitions. On the evening of December 28, Yuri was walking near Central and Harrison in the South Austin neighborhood when he was approached by a man who fired multiple shots, hitting him in the leg.
