Cesar Rangel, a 41-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically shot and killed on June 16, 2017, in Woodstock, Illinois. The incident occurred in a municipal parking lot on the east side of the Woodstock Square, near the intersection of East Calhoun Street and South Jefferson Street. Authorities responded to the scene after receiving 911 calls reporting gunshots in the area. Paramedics transported Rangel to Centegra Hospital in Woodstock, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
