Damion Gray, a 54-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 2, 2018, in Chicago, IL. Gray was struck by stray gunfire while walking outside a gas station in the 8700 block of South State Street on August 1, 2018, around 8:15 p.m. The gunfire came from a gunman firing shots in the direction of the gas station, and it is believed that Gray may not have been the intended target.
