Bryan Perkins, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 21, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Bryan was outside with a 40-year-old man when an unknown assailant approached them and opened fire. Bryan was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.
