On October 13, 2014, Charnise Raines, a 22-year-old woman from Oakland, California, was tragically shot and killed while driving in East Oakland. The incident occurred near the 900 block of 69th Avenue, close to the Coliseum BART station. Raines was driving with a male passenger when their vehicle was suddenly shot at.
