Sandra Fernandez-Cardenas, a 28-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on May 27, 2020, in Machesney Park, Illinois. The incident occurred in an apartment complex located in the 1100 block of Minns Drive. Sandra Fernandez-Cardenas, along with her 11-year-old son, was found dead in what authorities have determined to be a murder-suicide.
