Johnathan Stanton, a 31-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on June 7, 2020, in the Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred at approximately 12:25 a.m. while Stanton was sitting in a van parked in the 1500 block of South St. Louis Avenue. According to reports, an unknown assailant approached the vehicle and fired multiple shots, striking Stanton in the head, neck, and chest.
