Ahmad Cathey, a 41-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on June 22, 2020, in the Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred early in the morning at approximately 4:26 a.m. while Ahmad was on the street in the 3800 block of West Harrison Street.
