Sharn Green, a 30-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 19, 2020, in the Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Avers Avenue. Sharn Green was shot in the head and chest, and despite being rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The Cook County medical examiner's office conducted an autopsy and ruled his death a homicide.
