Jerry Thornton, a 27-year-old African American man from Chicago, IL, was tragically killed on May 22, 2021. The incident occurred on the Eisenhower Expressway on the West Side of Chicago. Thornton was driving westbound on Interstate 290 around 12:07 a.m. when shots were fired from another vehicle.
