Esther Cummings, a 76-year-old African American woman, was tragically found dead on February 6, 2022, in Cahokia Heights, Illinois. She and her 48-year-old son, Ronnie Cummings, were discovered shot to death inside their home on Calvin Boulevard. The incident was reported to the police around 8 a.m. on that Sunday morning, following a call about a domestic disturbance.
