Detrayvian D. "Bookie" Jones, a 24-year-old African American male from Rockford, Illinois, tragically lost his life on May 14, 2022. Jones, who was born on November 23, 1997, was a self-employed barber and a father to seven children. His untimely death occurred in the parking lot of Neighbors Bar and Grill in Loves Park, Illinois, where he was found shot multiple times shortly after 1:30 a.m. on that fateful Saturday.
