In the late summer of 1995, a domestic tragedy unfolded in the small community of Vidette in Burke County, Georgia, forever altering the lives of a local family. On the morning of September 11, 1995, the bodies of 31-year-old Brenda Jenkins Palmer and her 15-year-old daughter, Christine Jenkins, were discovered in their modest, two-room house.
