Brian P. Roslund, a 31-year-old white male from Pine Mountain, Georgia, passed away on December 1, 2015. His death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Roslund, who had been a Democratic candidate for District 29 of the Georgia State Senate in 2014, was found in his car outside a church in downtown Pine Mountain. He was discovered by police shortly after 9:30 a.m. on December 2, 2015, and was subsequently taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
