Richard Benjamin Trantham Jr., a 35-year-old white male, was found dead on the back porch of a house on Sawmill Road in Screven, GA, on March 26, 2016. Wayne County deputies responded to a call of a shooting just before 11 p.m. that night. Upon arrival, they discovered Trantham's body with a large hole in the center of his chest, indicating a fatal gunshot wound.
