Sherika Kamia Trammell, a 40-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on May 17, 2017, in a drive-by shooting in West Point, Georgia. The incident occurred as she was walking down East 12th Street around 10:30 p.m. Sherika Trammell suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to George H. Lanier Hospital in Valley, Alabama.
