Officer Chase Maddox, a 26-year-old white male from Locust Grove, Georgia, tragically lost his life on February 9, 2018, while serving in the line of duty. Maddox, who had been with the Locust Grove Police Department for five years, was assisting two deputies from the Henry County Sheriff's Office in serving an arrest warrant at a residence on St. Francis Court.
