Sheena Jones, a 33-year-old African American woman from Cordele, Georgia, tragically passed away on May 7, 2018, following a shooting incident that occurred on May 5, 2018. Sheena was initially hospitalized in critical condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon but succumbed to her injuries two days later. The incident also claimed the life of Shawna Ware, a 31-year-old woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
