Matthew McArthur, a 42-year-old Caucasian male from White, Georgia, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2019, in a harrowing incident that has been classified as a double murder-suicide. The events unfolded in Cartersville, GA, where McArthur was fatally shot by Jose Flores-Neve, a 37-year-old man from Kennesaw, Georgia. Flores-Neve also killed his estranged wife, Nayeli Fernandez-Diaz, a 34-year-old Hispanic female, before turning the gun on himself.
