Lawrence Edwards, a 23-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was fatally shot on December 16, 2011. The incident took place on the 2200 block of Elsinore Avenue, which is located in West Baltimore. Edwards' death occurred amidst a significant wave of violence in the city, which experienced numerous homicides during that year, many of which remain unsolved.
