On December 15, 2019, the tragic death of 36-year-old Tina Marie Austin from Eastman, Georgia, occurred in what was later determined to be a murder-suicide. Tina M. Austin, a female, was found deceased outside the Eastman Healthcare and Rehab facility, where she was employed. The incident also involved 25-year-old Charlie Kiundre Barnes Jr. of Sandersville, Georgia, who was identified as the perpetrator. Both individuals were discovered with fatal gunshot wounds.
