Cross Christian Henderson, a 21-year-old male from Upatoi, GA, tragically lost his life on January 18, 2020. He was shot and killed during a home invasion in the Upatoi Ridge subdivision. Cross, who was an E3 in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and worked in fire protection services, was at his mother’s home when the incident occurred. The home invasion led to a violent confrontation, resulting in Cross's death. He was pronounced dead at Piedmont Columbus Regional Medical Center.
