In the early morning hours of Saturday, April 3, 2021, the quiet town of Dudley, Georgia, was disturbed by a discovery that would soon ripple through the community. Responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle, Laurens County sheriff's deputies arrived at Doug's Convenience Store to find 40-year-old William Darrisaw, a male resident of nearby Dublin, deceased in his car. It was immediately apparent that he had been the victim of a violent crime, having been shot to death.
Born on March 31, 1981, Mr. Darrisaw had just celebrated his 40th birthday a few days prior to his untimely death.
