On September 28, 2022, Sashya Cato, a woman from Ludowici, Georgia, was found dead in her home alongside her husband, Staff Sergeant Deveraux Cato, 34, in what authorities suspect to be a murder-suicide. Sashya Cato, whose age and ethnicity were not disclosed in the reports, was discovered after neighbors noticed the couple's two children locked out of their home with both cars parked in the driveway.
