Shanterriah Wheelous, a 37-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on November 7, 2022, in Redan, Georgia. She was at home with her brother, Darrell Wheelous, when a drive-by shooting occurred. The siblings were watching TV inside their Stone Mountain house when someone fired more than 30 shots into their home. Shanterriah died at the scene, while her brother succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
