Laila Reneé Harris, a 15-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on December 3, 2022, in Morrow, Georgia. The incident occurred during a high school party held at an event hall on Citizens Parkway. The party, which drew hundreds of teenagers from various metro Atlanta high schools, turned chaotic when gunfire erupted.
