In the early morning hours of December 15, 2022, the life of Christy Fisher, a 30-year-old mother of four, was tragically cut short in a Warner Robins park. The events that led to her death began with her husband's growing suspicions of infidelity. Christy had been working a shift as a food delivery driver when her husband, 32-year-old Alexander Scot Fisher, became enraged that she was not answering his calls or text messages. Consumed by jealousy, he left their four young children alone at their Centerville home and set out to find her.
Alexander's search led him to a Circle K in Byron, where he located Christy's car. What followed was a terrifying chase that ended in violence. He pursued her vehicle into Warner Robins, repeatedly ramming it with his own truck. The relentless assault forced Christy's car off the road, crashing into the grass at Deloris Toliver Park. At the time, Christy was not alone; she had two other individuals in the car with her. Alexander exited his truck, armed with a handgun, and confronted his wife and the other occupants.
In the ensuing confrontation, Alexander Fisher fired his weapon, striking Christy in the chest. Witnesses who saw the chase had already begun calling 911, and Christy herself was able to make a call for help before she succumbed to her injuries. When emergency services arrived, she was rushed to Houston Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead shortly before 2 a.m. Police arrested Alexander at the scene. During a subsequent interview, he admitted to shooting his wife.
Alexander Fisher was initially charged with murder, aggravated assault, and aggressive driving. On March 3, 2025, the morning his jury trial was set to begin in Houston County Superior Court, he chose to plead guilty to felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault. As a result of his plea, Alex Scot Fisher was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole. The case stands as a grim reminder of the devastating consequences of domestic violence, leaving four children without their mother.
