Erika J. Sukovich, a 19-year-old white female, was tragically found dead on November 13, 1972, in Odessa, Florida. Her body was discovered in the yard of her mobile home located on Tarpon Springs Road, west of the intersection with Boy Scout Road. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound. Erika had moved out of her parents' home in Madeira Beach, Florida, in June 1971, to live with her boyfriend, Charles Martin, who was 25 years old at the time.
