Robert L. Zore, a 25-year-old detective with the Metro-Dade Police Department, tragically lost his life on December 24, 1983, in South Miami, Florida. On that fateful Christmas Eve, Detective Zore was working in plainclothes as part of a unit tasked with monitoring retail crime during the holiday season.
