Derek Pieper, a 17-year-old male from Trilby, Florida, was tragically murdered on July 28, 2006. Derek Pieper and his friend, 18-year-old Raymond Veluz, were found shot execution-style on a rural road in Trilby. The two teenagers had left a party to buy drugs when they encountered their assailants. Authorities identified the perpetrators as Luc Pierre-Charles Jr. and Tyree Jenkins. Both men were charged with first-degree murder for their roles in the killings.
