On the evening of June 27, 2015, 23-year-old African American male Justin Sandeford was fatally shot while riding in a vehicle with four companions in Oakland, California. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 400 block of International Boulevard near Fourth Avenue, when an unknown assailant opened fire on their car.
