Murdered

On June 27, 2015, Justin Sandeford, age 23, was fatally shot in Oakland, California, near Lake Merritt. The incident occurred while Sandeford was in a car with four other people in the 400 block of Staten Avenue. A gunman approached their vehicle and opened fire, resulting in Sandeford being shot and killed. Another passenger in the vehicle was also injured but survived the attack.
