James Edward Rapp, a 67-year-old white male, was found murdered in his home in St. Petersburg, Florida, on January 28, 2014. The tragic incident occurred at 2840 17th Avenue North, where he lived with his roommate, Paula Witthaus, a 54-year-old white female. Both victims were discovered brutally murdered inside their residence. The case has been a significant focus for the St. Petersburg Police Department, which continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
