Tahnika Michelle Duppins, a 32-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on August 29, 2014, in Cocoa, Florida. The incident occurred at her residence on Johnson Street, where she was shot multiple times. Initially, her boyfriend, Dennis Aviles II, claimed that two men had broken into their home and shot Duppins during a botched drug-related robbery.
