Steven Matthew Jackson Jr., a 26-year-old African American male from Melbourne, Florida, was found mortally wounded on December 29, 2014, in Rockledge, Florida. He was discovered inside a vehicle on Virginia Avenue, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to a local medical facility, Jackson succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. The Brevard County Medical Examiner's Office determined his death to be a homicide.
