Victorino Hector Bacuetes, aged 44, was shot and killed on August 16, 2015, at Morley Field in Balboa Park, San Diego. His body was discovered early in the morning near Baseball Field #3 and the Velodrome. San Diego Police responded to a call reporting a "man down" and found Bacuetes with gunshot wounds. The circumstances of the shooting remain unclear, and no suspects have been identified.
