Jaquavis Major, a 17-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on March 27, 2017, in Riviera Beach, Florida. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. near the 1500 block of Australian Avenue. Jaquavis was one of two individuals shot when gunfire erupted between the occupants of two vehicles. Both victims were transported to a hospital, but unfortunately, Jaquavis succumbed to his injuries.
