Derrick Henderson, a 45-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on May 24, 2017, in Lehigh Acres, Florida. The incident occurred late at night on Alido Avenue, where deputies from the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Henderson suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
