Derwin Davis, a 34-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on May 25, 2017, in San Mateo, FL. Davis was shot in the leg during a botched robbery attempt at an internet cafe in Putnam County. Despite being rushed to the Putnam Community Medical Center, he was pronounced dead on arrival. The incident occurred when robbers fired shots into the business, striking Davis, who was there as a customer.
