Matthew Collins, a 31-year-old resident of Lehigh Acres, Florida, was reported missing on October 12, 2017, after he left his home to get a haircut. His disappearance quickly escalated into a homicide investigation when his vehicle was found six days later with a bullet hole in the windshield and blood inside. The vehicle was located in Lehigh Acres, and it was apparent that Collins had been a victim of foul play.
