Jeffrey Scott, an 18-year-old Vanguard High School senior from Ocala, Florida, tragically lost his life on December 12, 2017. The incident occurred in the 2200 block of Northwest First Avenue, where Jeffrey and another young man, Marcus Cooper, were found lying by two separate cars after a shooting. The Ocala Police Department received multiple calls about shots fired at around 9:11 p.m. that evening. Upon arrival, officers discovered the two victims and transported them to a local hospital.
