Demetrius Antonio Portee, aged 35, was tragically shot and killed on September 28, 2018, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred early in the morning at a residence on Orion Street, where police were initially called to respond to a burglary. Upon arrival, the situation escalated, and officers discovered that Portee had been shot. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office quickly upgraded the call to a shooting investigation.
