In the Curtis Bay neighborhood of Baltimore, the life of 25-year-old Tabitha L. Holtman, a Caucasian female, was cut short on the night of Sunday, October 11, 2015. Holtman was fatally shot in what became another homicide case in the city. At the time, the interim police commissioner, Kevin Davis, spoke about her death, noting that she had a previous criminal record, including arrests for handgun violations, and had herself been a non-fatal shooting victim in the past.
