On the night of October 10, 2015, 24-year-old Mustafa Albowyha was fatally shot in Oakland, California. He and his 22-year-old cousin, Mohamed Sbeih, were both killed in the Fruitvale District, near the 3600 block of Foothill Boulevard. The two men were standing on the street corner when a gunman approached them on foot and opened fire, fleeing the scene shortly afterward.
